Niseko is widely considered as the best and most famous ski resort in Japan amongst international skiers and snowboarders. For those who love powder, Niseko is the number one pick because it seems to constantly snow, and the deep, deep powder is way too enticing. Niseko is one big powder playground!

See one of the famous and most distinctive festivals in Japan! Huge glittering ice sculptures transform Sapporo into a magical winter wonderland during this annual Snow Festival. Teams of professional artists from around the globe create the frosty masterpieces at venues across the city. Its a must see!


Airfare is not included in the package in order to make sure you get the most convenient flights that suit your schedule and budget. Airfares will vary depending on the availability at the time of booking. You can book a round-trip plane tickets to Sapporo for as low as 13,600yen (if you book fast enough) and as high as 45,000yen (if you book last minute).

Our staff will be in Niseko from the 4th of February until the 15th so you can join us whatever suits your schedule, just let us know upon booking. We can setup a price based on your itinerary, and will arrange transportation, accommodation and lift pass according to your flight schedule.

If you're planning to join this trip earlier than Feb 10, please book an early flight arriving at Shin-Chitose airport before 2:45pm if possible. There are limited no. of direct buses to Niseko in the afternoon/night. Book a night flight if possible for your return ticket to Tokyo.

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able to join. You can also buy ski/snowboard insurance online to make sure you're fully covered [WorldNomads.com].
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Most rooms are (with Western) beds not futons.
  • Minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 persons per room.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of friends can have their own room.
  • Private room for 2 persons available on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
  • Our lodge is located just a 10min walk to the closest chairlift and onsen.
  • Private shuttle bus (every 30mins) to/from lodge - main town or ski resort in the morning between 8:30am-10:30, and in the evening between 4:30pm-8:30.
  • Sapporo Snow Festival will be held from the 5th of February 2016 until the 11th. We recommend you arriving early in Sapporo on the 10th so you have a full day enjoying the festival. You can then come back to the airport at night, meet the rest of the group, and take the 10:15pm private bus straight to our lodge.
  • Restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
  • Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the lodge. Address will be provided upon request.
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on the day of your departure.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
