Iai-giri Japanese Sword Martial Arts

2015 June 16 (Tuesday)

Kudanshita, Tokyo

An evening of intense Japanese Bushi-do experience!

Iai-do is a form of martial arts that uses Japanese sword to demonstrate ones skill.

While most schools use only wooden swords and don't practice cutting technic, our school allows us to use a sword and practice cutting. Cutting a rolled tatami mat target requires not only great amount of concentration but also good control of speed, angle, and power.

Put on a Hakama (Japanese traditional clothing), and do some Zen meditation to relax, calm down after your busy day.

Finish the session watching the instructor's amazing performance!
