    Senjojiki Cirque

  • Just under Mt. Hōken, one of the Kiso Mountains in Nagano lies Senjojiki Cirque, 'Senjōjiki Kaaru' in Japanese. 'Senjōjiki' means the wideness of 1,000 tatami mats.
  • Senjojiki Cirque Trail

  • An easy trek around Senjojiki Cirque in just under 45mins. You can see Kengaiike (pond) and some seasonal flowers, and have lots of time taking pictures of the gorgeous autumn leaves and enjoying the breathtaking mountain scenery.
  • Mt. Kiso Komagatake

  • The tallest peak of the Central Japan Alps at 2,956m. You can hike up and reach the peak of this mountain in just under two (2) hours.
  • Komagatake Ropeway

  • Built atop the Senjojiki Cirque directly below Mt. Hokendake in Japan’s Central Alps. The ropeway features Japan's largest elevation gain (from 1,662m to 2,612m - 950 meters) and Japan's highest terminal station (2,612 meters). Be whisked away in just 7-1/2 minutes to another world high above it all!
  • Happoike

  • A short (about an hour) but good hike up to Happoike (@2,060m above sea level) following a scenic nature study trail gives you one of the most amazing feelings while exploring the outdoors. The mystical scenery of Happo-ike banishes any feeling of fatigue from the effort to hike up there. A connection of gondola and chairlifts will take you way up so you only need to hike up a little to reach this majestic pond.
  • Karamatsudake

  • One of the tallest peaks in the Hakuba Alps (@2,696m) with breathtaking mountain views. We can hike up the peak of this mountain if you're fit and experienced hiker looking for some more adventure.
