Kenashi (1,650m), Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort boasts an altitude differential of 1,085 meters and a total ski slope area of 297 hectares. Indeed, the resort ranks among the very top in Japan in terms of size, its history and snow quality. The abundance of 100% natural, high-quality powder snow allows you to enjoy skiing well into early May.

Trip Itinerary

Saturday (Dec 30)

  • Go to Nozawa Onsen by own means of transportation (car or shinkansen)
  • Ski/snowboarding until 5pm (only possible if you arrive early)
  • Check-in at the lodge after 4pm
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice PAID ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Apres-ski party at Karaoke Bar Heaven

Sunday (Dec 31) *New Year's Eve

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding until 5pm
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice PAID ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Group party at the Craft Room until 11:30pm
  • Watch the fireworks display at Nagasaka ski area
  • Bar hopping until you drop

Monday (Jan 1)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Ski/snowboarding or recover from hangover ;)
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice PAID ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Visit one of the local clubs/bars

Tuesday (Jan 2)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding until 5pm
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice PAID ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Visit one of the local clubs/bars

Wednesday (Jan 3)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice PAID ones
  • Go back to Tokyo anytime you want

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Transportation to/from Tokyo/Nozawa Onsen is not included.
  • Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able join.
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Minimum/maximum of 4 persons per room.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of (4) friends can have their own room.
  • No twin and triple room availbe.
  • The lodge is only an 8min walk to Nagasaka gondola.
  • Restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
  • Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • Free snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Dec 30) from 1:30pm until 4.
  • We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
  • Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
  • Towels available for rent at the lodge for 200yen.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
