Trip Itinerary

Ski/snowboarding like you're on the beach

Saturday (Mar 25)

  • Meet in Shinjuku at 6:45am
  • Get on the bus
  • Catch up on your sleep or chat with other members and get excited
  • Short stop for breakfast on the way
  • Arrive in Naeba around 10:15am
  • Check-in at the hotel
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding (10:30am-5pm)
  • Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
  • Relax at the hotel/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Apres-ski party at Green Star (a really classy) bar

Sunday (Mar 26)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding (8:30am-3:30pm) *Optional in beach attire
  • Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
  • Change clothes/get ready
  • Get on the bus at 4:30pm
  • Short stop for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:30pm

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able join.
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 persons per room.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of friends can have their own room.
  • Private room for 2 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
  • The hotel is located just a 7min walking distance to Naeba ski resort.
  • Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • There will be a 2,000yen fee for ski/snowboard boots JPN size 29.5 and above.
  • Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Mar 25) 12:30pm until 3pm.
  • Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
  • You don't need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you're a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a "ride ticket" which costs around 300-350yen per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
  • We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
  • Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
  • Towels available for rent at the lodge for 200yen.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday (Mar 26), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
