Kamikochi and Hakuba Adventure Weekend

2015 August 29-30 (Saturday-Sunday)

Kamikochi/Hakuba, Nagano

An outdoor adventure for all ages!

This Trip Features;

  • Absolutely gorgeous and spectacular mountain scenery
  • Crystal clear river and lakes
  • Amazingly beautiful but mystical Happo lake
  • Fresh and crispy air
  • Easy trek and hikes
  • Karamatsudake hike (for more adventurous hikers)

An easy trek along Kamikochi's Azusa river will reward your eyes with some of Japan's most spectacular mountain scenery! Taisho pond, Tashiro pond, Myojin pond, Takezawa marsh and Azura river are amongst the very beautiful places you will see while trekking. Read Kamikochi's highlights!

A short but good hike up to Happo-ike (@2,060m above sea level) following a scenic nature study trail! The mystical scenery of Happo-ike banishes any feeling of fatigue from the effort to hike up there. A connection of gondola and chairlifts will take you way up so you only need to hike up a little to reach this majestic pond. You can then continue hiking up to Karamatsu peak (@2,696m above sea level) if you are still genki, and want to enjoy some more stunning landscapes.

For non-hikers, no need to worry, Hakuba offers a lot of fun summer activities such as canyoning, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing and more. You can book a tour directly at Evergreen Outdoor Center!

Kamikochi and Hakuba are two of the best places to visit in the summer if you truly wanna enjoy the nature, and escape the city heat at the same time.

Refresh and de-stress! Join us for this absolutely amazing weekend of hiking that suit all levels!
