A weekend away in the snow at Japan's premier resort to ski/snowboard as well as party!

Powder Love Hakuba is a yearly, live-music, DJ and festival style event held both inside and outside of Tracks Bar in Hakuba. The Event will feature a nightclub in the basement of Tracks with a top international DJ line-up, while the first floor will feature live music and performance artists. To add to the good vibes of the event there will also be food stalls and a huge bonfire outside with an icebar, more music, and video displays!

Trip Itinerary

Friday (Mar 6)

  • Meet in Shinjuku at 7:30pm
  • Get on the bus
  • Have some drinks and chat with other members
  • Short stop for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive in Hakuba around 0:15am
  • Check-in at the hotel
  • Go straight to sleep (or lobby for a drink night cap)

Saturday (Mar 7)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding at Hakuba Cortina (8:45am-3pm)
  • Relax/enjoy the nice onsen/spa
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Powder Love Hakuba Party from 7:30pm until midnight

Sunday (Mar 8)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding at Hakubagoryu&47 (8:30am-3pm)
  • Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
  • Get on the bus at 4pm
  • Short stop for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:30pm

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Minimum of 4 and maximum of 5 persons for shared rooms.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of friends can have their own room.
  • Restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
  • Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • There will be a 2,000yen (for 2 days) extra fee for ski/snowboard boots JPN size 29.5 and above.
  • Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Mar 7) from 9:30am until 12pm.
  • Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
  • You don't need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you're a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a "ride ticket" which costs around 300-350yen per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
  • We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
  • Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
  • Towels and toothbrush are provided.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday (Mar 8), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
