This Snow Trip Features;

• Two (2) days of ski/snowboarding
• Free beginners ski/snowboarding lesson

• 13 FREE public onsens (a unique cultural experience) and 2 good paid onsens (Furusatonoyu and Sparena)

Nozawa Onsen is widely considered by many experienced riders as the best ski resort in Japan in many aspects such as mountain/resort size, slopes and layout, consistent snow fall, quality and amount of powder, weather, amazing tree runs, backcountry, accessibility/location, apres ski bars, onsens, traditional town and very friendly locals.

Friday (Feb 19)

• Meet in Shinjuku at 7:30pm
• Get on the bus
• Have a relaxing drink, chat with other members and get excited
• Short stops for food/snacks on the way
• Arrive in Nozawa Onsen around 0:15am
• Check-in at the lodge

Saturday (Feb 20)

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Ski/snowboarding (8:30am-5pm)
• Visit one of the free public or paid onsens
• Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
• Dinner at 6pm
• Apres-ski drinks at our local bar (Karaoke Heaven)

Sunday (Feb 21)

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Ski/snowboarding (8:30am-3pm)
• Visit one of the free public or paid onsens
• Change clothes/get ready
• Get on the bus at 4pm
• Short stops for food/snacks on the way
• Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:45pm

• Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
• Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
• You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able join.
• Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
• Minimum of 4 and maximum of 5 persons per room.
• Male/Female only rooms are available.
• Group of (4 or more) friends can have their own room.
• Private room for 2 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
• Restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
• Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
• Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Feb 20) from 9:30am until 12pm.
• Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
• You don't need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you're a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a "ride ticket" which costs around 300-350yen per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
• We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
• Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
• Towels available for rent at the lodge for 200yen.
• You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
• You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday (Feb 21), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
• Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
