Jogasaki Coast, Mount Omuro And Gotemba Kogen Resort Trip
A short trek along jagged cliffs with fantastic ocean view!
Walk around the crater rim of an extinct volcano which offers 360° panoramic views that include Mt. Fuji and Oshima Island.
Relax in the hot spring and/or enjoy some good food and beers to finish the day.
This trip features;
- Jogasaki Coast – a stunning stretch of coast on the eastern side of the Izu peninsula. The coastline is famous for it’s jagged cliffs, beautiful views, Kadowaki Suspension Bridge and Lighthouse.
- Mount Omuro – a 580m high extinct volcano near the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula, shaped like an inverted rice bowl and has a beautiful silhouette that can be seen from most places in the Izu Kogen area.
- Gotemba Kogen Resort – a truly unique world class resort ideally located in the valley at the base of beautiful Mt. Fuji. The resort have great restaurants and offer hot springs and on site micro-brewery that will help soothe away your stress and leave your body and mind refreshed.

- Meet in Shinjuku at 7am
- Get on the bus
- Catch up on your sleep
- Short stop for breakfast on the way
- Arrive at Jogasaki Coast parking around 10am
- Walk along the beautiful coast
- Get on the bus at 12pm
- Arrive at Mt. Omuro parking around 12:15pm
- Get on the chairlift up to the top of Mt. Omuro
- Walk along the crater rim and enjoy 360° panoramic views
- Short picnic lunch
- Get on the bus at 1:30pm
- Arrive at Gotemba Koren Resort & Brewery around 2:30pm
- Relax in the hot springs and/or enjoy some delicious food and good craft beers
- Get on the bus at 4pm
- Short rest stop on the way
- Arrive back in Shinjuku around 5:45pm
