• Meet our staff and the group outside Mitake Station at 11:40am
• Take a short walk to the kayak/SUP shop
• Have some snacks or a light lunch (please bring your own)
• Change into your kayak/SUP clothes (e.g. beach shorts, bikini, quick-dry long sleeve shirt, sandals, etc.)
• Store your belongings in a locker
• Short drive to Shiromaru
• Walk down to the river
• Safety briefing and basic paddling instruction
• Enjoy river kayaking or SUP from 1pm to 3:30pm
• Return to the shop to shower, change, and relax with some beers
• Optional: Take a scenic 20-minute walk along the river to Sawanoi Sake Brewery
• Optional: Sake tasting from 4pm to 5pm
• Optional: Stop by Tachikawa Station to catch the fireworks festival and end the day with a bang!

Price includes;

• Half-day kayaking (or SUP boarding)
• All gear required for kayaking or SUP boarding (kayak, paddle, wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, shoes, etc.)
• Kayak/SUP board guide/instructor
• Fun and cute outdoor guide 😉

• Itinerary may change depending on weather, traffic, or other unavoidable circumstances.
• Please bring your own snacks or a light lunch — there are no shops nearby to buy food.
• Kayaking or SUP  first-timers and beginners are totally welcome!
• The river we’ll be kayaking or SUP boarding on has a gentle current, making it beginner-friendly.
• The trip will start on time with or without you, so please don’t be late. Check your train schedule in advance and allow extra time for transfers, as connections can be tricky.
• Sake tasting and the Tachikawa Fireworks Festival are completely optional. If you prefer, you can return to Tokyo right after the kayaking/SUP activity.
• Train fare and lunch are not included in the price.
• Final details will be sent to the participants two days before the event.
