A scenic and adventurous day exploring some of the most beautiful natural sights around Mt. Fuji — surrounded by the magical colors of autumn!
This trip features:- Shiraito Falls – One of Japan’s most beautiful waterfalls, where crystal-clear spring water flows gracefully down a 20-meter-high cliff in delicate white streams.
- Lake Saiko – Start the trek at one of the Fuji Five Lakes, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
- Jukai Forest – Trek through the mysterious “Sea of Trees,” a vast and beautiful forest at the base of Mt. Fuji, known for its unique volcanic landscape and peaceful atmosphere.
- Koyodai Observatory – Enjoy a short hike to this scenic viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, the surrounding lakes, and the forest below.
- Chureito Pagoda – End the day with one of Japan’s most iconic views: the beautiful five-story pagoda overlooking Fujiyoshida City with majestic Mt. Fuji in the background.
- Meet the group in Shinjuku at 7am
- Get on the bus
- Catch up on your sleep
- Short stop for breakfast on the way
- Arrive at Shiraito Falls parking area around 10am
- See and enjoy the gorgeous waterfalls and the surrounding nature
- Get on the bus at 11:30am
- Arrive at Saiko Lake parking area around 12pm
- Trek through some parts of Jukai Forest
- Short hike up to Koyodai Observatory
- Picnic lunch while enjoying spectacular view of Mt. Fuji surrounded by autumn colors
- Hike down and finish the trek at Narusawa cave around 3pm
- Get on the bus at 3:30pm
- Arrive at Shikoyoshida station around 3:30pm
- Walk to Arakurayama Sengen Park and climb up to Chureito Pagoda via long stairs
- Enjoy one of the best views of Mt. Fuji (if not the best)
- Get on the bus at 5pm
- Arrive back in Shinjuku around 6:30pm
