  • Meet in Shinjuku at 7:20pm
  • Get on the bus
  • Have a relaxing drink, chat with other participants, and get excited
  • Short stop for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive in Nozawa Onsen around 0:30am
  • Walk to the lodge (3mins)
  • Check-in your room/sleep
* Saturday
  • Breakfast at 7:45am
  • Get the gear on
  • Skiing/snowboarding until 4:30pm
  • Apres-ski drinks at the Craft Room
  • Visit one of the FREE or PAID onsens
  • Dinner at one of the restaurants in town (not provided)
  • Group drinks at Balance Bar from 8:30pm
* Sunday
  • Breakfast at 7:45am
  • Check-out of your room
  • Skiing/snowboarding until 3pm
  • Visit one of the FREE or PAID onsens
  • Change clothes, pack and get ready
  • Get on the bus at 4pm
  • Short stops for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:45pm

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Participants must have their own health and social insurance in order to join.
  • Densei (basic lodge) is very well located, only 2 mins walk from/to Nagasaka gondola. Rooms are basic (futons, blankets and heater) but good enough if you want convenience and more ski/snowboard time. The lodge/hotel room rate around Nagasaka gondola area costs about ¥12,000/person/night. Our lodge is very cheap for that area but the catch is, its old and not well maintained.
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Minimum 4 and maximum of 6 persons per room.
  • Male-only/Female-only rooms are available.
  • Group of 4 (or more) friends can have their own room.
  • Lunch and dinner not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • Free snowboarding (only) lesson is on the Saturday from 9:30am until 12pm.
  • Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
  • You don’t need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you’re a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a “ride ticket” which costs around ¥500 per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
  • Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
  • Towels available for rent at the lodge for ¥300.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the lodge. Address will be provided upon request
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on the Sunday, and put your belongings in the luggage room before going somewhere.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
