Seazuoka Beach Adventure
An awesome weekend adventure to the summer capital of Japan!
THIS TRIP FEATURES:
- Shirahama Beach; an 800 meter long beach that is one of Izu’s most famous and popular attractions. Beach lovers come here to enjoy the sand and sun, and the area is also known for it’s relatively good surfing conditions.
- Yumigahama Beach; a conical shaped beach voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in Japan and it’s calm, mild and flat surf is ideal for open water swimming.
- Minami Izumachi Geopark; a spot where you can see Izu’s most breathtaking coastline and unique landscapes that cannot be seen anywhere else.
- Hirizo Beach; located at the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula and surrounded by steep cliffs is the best snorkelling spot in the Kanto region.
- Kawazu 7 Waterfalls; a series of waterfalls located upstream on the Kawazu River, called Kamadaru, Ebidaru, Hebidaru, Shokeidaru, Kanidaru, Deaidaru and Odaru Falls in order from upstream which can be seen from a nice walking trail.
- Amagisou Spa; boasts one of the most scenic outdoor onsens in Japan. Outdoor and unique cave onsens and next to a huge waterfall.

SATURDAY
- Meet the group in Shinjuku at 7am
- Get on the bus
- Short rest stops on the way
- Arrive at Shirahama Beach around 11am
- Enjoy the sea, sand and sun until 5:30pm
- Get on the bus at 5:45pm
- Arrive at our hotel around 6pm
- Check-in your room
- Enjoy the onsen
- Have dinner at one of the restaurants in Shimoda (not provided)
SUNDAY
- Have breakfast (not provided)
- FREE TIME (join the Hirizo/Yumigahama Tour or just walk around Shimoda)
- Bus pickup from hotel at 1pm
- Arrive at Kawazu 7 Waterfalls around 3pm
- See and explore the Kawazu 7 Waterfalls until 4pm
- Enjoy the outdoor onsen at Amagisou Spa
- Get on the bus at 5pm
- Short stop for food/snacks on the way
- Arrive back in Shinjuku around 9pm

- You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday. You can leave your luggage in the front desk if you’re planning to walk around Shimoda.
- Departure from hotel for the optional trip to Hirizo/Yumigahama Tour on Sunday is at 8:15am. Return to the hotel to pickup the rest and regroup is at 1pm.
- Bring your own snorkeling kit or swimming goggles if joining the Hirizo/Yumigahama Tour. There are rental shops at Nakagi Port but availability not guaranteed.
