- Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, COVID-19 restrictions and other unavoidable circumstances.
- Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
- Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
- Minimum/maximum of 4 persons for shared rooms.
- Male/Female only rooms are available.
- Group of (4) friends can have their own room.
- Private room for 2 or 3 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
- The hotel (almost ski-in ski-out) is located near Yakebitaiyama; the best powder snow and ski area in Shiga Kogen.
- Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
- Please bring enough cash on the trip. Credit cards are not widely accepted here in Japan. International (foreign) cash cards sometimes don’t work on ATM’s (if any) at the ski resort.
- There will be an extra fee for ski/snowboard boots JPN size 29.5 and above.
- Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Feb 12) from 9:30am until 12pm.
- Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginners discount.
- You don’t need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you’re a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a “ride ticket” which costs around 300-350yen per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
- We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
- Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
- Towels available for rent at the hotel for 200yen.
- You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
- You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday (Feb 13), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
- Possible to ski/snowboard on the Sunday from 8:30am until 12pm and join join the Snow monkey tour from 1pm until 4:30.
- Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.^
